Focus on Wellness

In 2024, ASAS Puget Sound launched a mentorship program to provide small group and one-on-one support for All-Star students at our sites. The program focused on the eight dimensions of wellness—from emotional and physical health to financial literacy and social development—equipping students with the skills they need for life beyond school.

More than guidance alone, our mentorship program has helped students develop confidence, make informed decisions, and navigate challenges. As Paris, a sixth grader, shared, “I’m learning how to control my anxiety and anger, and it’s helping me become a better person.” For families, the impact is just as meaningful. Karen, an All-Star parent, explained, “The mentorship program is providing kids with social time, opportunities to be active, homework help, and hands-on activities.”

By addressing both academic and personal development, this program is helping to shape well-rounded, resilient young leaders.
