Audriana joined ASAS as an eighth grader, initially preferring to work alone. Through our mentorship program, she stepped outside her comfort zone, becoming more collaborative and confident while embracing new experiences. She also developed stronger communication skills, learning how tone and word choice shape interactions. When a new student joined, Audriana took the lead in making them feel welcome.
In April, she won an art competition award, and later that year, she won a cookie decorating contest—choosing to gift her prize to a classmate instead of keeping it for herself. Now in high school, Audriana gives back by volunteering at ASAS, embodying the confidence, leadership, and kindness she gained through mentorship. Her journey proves that when students are supported, they grow into the role models of tomorrow.
