For the past 11 years, ASAS founder Arnold Schwarzenegger has hosted the Westime Charity Night event in support of After-School All-Stars. What started as a small gathering of friends in 2013 has grown into something life-changing for hundreds of thousands of our students, and we’re excited to announce that this year’s event has raised $6.7 million!
Last January, hundreds of students in our LA and NY chapters attended exclusive early screenings of Wonka.
This once-in-a-lifetime experience included a red carpet photoshoot, giveaways, and a surprise visit by “Willy Wonka” himself, Timothée Chalamet!
Advocacy. Service. Leadership. You! These were the focal points of this year’s All-Star Leadership University in Orlando, Florida. The event hosted workshops for both students and mentors: helping students discover the power of their personal stories, as well as partnering with mentors to create learning environments where youth can feel safe sharing their stories.
URBN will invest a total of $250,000 across two years to fund the Graphic Design Academy and support other youth initiatives that align with their mission to foster creativity and opportunity in the next generation.
Thanks to a partnership with immersive learning company Transfr, All-Star students in Cleveland, Los Angeles, Miami, and Newark have been using virtual reality learning modules to explore career options that align with their skills and interests.
Building on our successful “All-Star Academy” model, URBN and ASAS are collaborating to launch a graphic design academy, a seven-week course focused on graphic design and digital marketing.
In 2022, we marked the 20th anniversary of California’s Proposition 49, which is the largest and most robust expanded learning infrastructure in U.S. history. Championed by ASAS founder Arnold Schwarzenegger, Prop 49 has dedicated an estimated $6.77 billion to support school-based expanded learning programs across the state of California.
Across the U.S., All-Stars experienced trips to museums, zoos, playgrounds, state parks, and college campuses—building upon and reinforcing the content they learn during the school year.

Thanks to a grant from the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention, our Rising Stars program is connecting hundreds of students across the country with year-round mentors. Rising Stars has been introduced to 28 metropolitan communities across ten ASAS chapters where at-risk youth are struggling with multiple risk factors that contribute to juvenile crime and truancy.
Candice is the President and Founder of EYL 365 Project and wants to encourage students to “think beyond their four corners” and to encourage career exploration and foster self-expression among students.
From attending her ASAS program at Stuart-Hobson, Tarnara hopes her students will gain the value of trying new things.
