About Us
For more than 30 years, After-School All-Stars New York has empowered young people with the opportunities, relationships, and experiences they need to learn, grow, and lead. Rooted in schools and guided by caring adults, our programs go beyond academics to nurture creativity, confidence, and community.
Today, After-School All-Stars New York serves over 3,400 students across 14 school sites through during-school and after-school programming, blending academic support, sports, arts, STEM, and social-emotional learning.
Through strong partnerships with schools, families, and community, we create environments where young people discover their strengths, explore new interests, and build the skills that shape their futures.
All-Stars Experience Wonka Magic
Hundreds of students in our Los Angeles and New York chapters were invited to attend exclusive early screenings of the highly-anticipated movie, Wonka. This once-in-a-lifetime experience included a red carpet photoshoot, giveaways, and a surprise visit by “Willy Wonka” himself, Timothée Chalamet!
The Power of Mentorship
Our community school program at PS 328 has transformed early literacy through an innovative partnership with Read Alliance. By pairing local high school tutors with K-2 students under certified teacher supervision, the program bridges generations of learners and creates a dynamic learning environment that benefits both age groups.
