Partner Spotlight:
Musical Theatre

This year, we partnered with ECHOES, a performing arts workshop designed for underserved communities. Our students created original music theatre productions about their lives and then performed them in front of family members, peers, and community leaders. The 15-week curriculum focused on personal development, enhancing social skills, and gaining confidence and self-worth. Students received additional support through panel discussions and career development opportunities.

Student Spotlight: Meet James

Ninth-grade student James is the youngest of his siblings and grew up in a single-parent household. Throughout his early childhood, older students often pulled him into situations that would negatively affect his academic performance. James joined All-Stars in sixth grade, and our team of mentors helped him improve his grades and become a leader through the Youth Advisory Board. In seventh grade, he created a student resource store and collected 500+ school and hygiene items for peers in need. Through ASAS, James traveled to the capitol to advocate for OST programs and discovered athletics, drama, and his latest passion, cooking: “All-Stars helped me use my voice for change and learn to not be afraid of trying new things.”
