All-Star Games
The All-Star Games is our signature annual culminating event, bringing together students, families, and supporters from our partner middle school sites across Dallas, Fort Worth, and Lancaster to celebrate a year of growth, learning, and community. This year’s event will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Hector P. Garcia Middle School from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM. Students compete and showcase skills across four enrichment areas: Cooking, Droning/STEM, Visual Arts, and Sports, with competitions ranging from timed dish preparation rounds and drone mission flights to a student-curated art gallery and athletic obstacle courses. A STEM Fair rounds out the academic showcase, with each school presenting an original, student-led investigation into a real-world problem. With a strong, intentional Family Engagement component woven throughout, the All-Star Games is more than a competition; it’s a celebration of what’s possible when young people have access to free, daily, high-quality after-school programming. Culminating events are critical for students learning new skills because applying them beyond the classroom offers a unique opportunity for the development of goal orientation, a growth mindset, and, most of all, a sense of belonging and identity within a community.
