Our Impact

We are more than a nonprofit–we’re a movement focused on empowering young people and providing them with opportunities to develop meaningful relationships, speak up for themselves, and inspire positive change in their communities.

The All-Stars effect goes beyond our classroom walls. Students carry the skills and attitudes they develop into college, their work, their neighborhoods and homes. Our impact now spans more than 30 years of service and multiple generations of All-Stars.

We are committed to the growth and development of young people by creating opportunities for them to build meaningful relationships with peers and adults, and to participate in activities that spark their interest and support active, engaging learning. Through these experiences, All-Stars gain a deeper understanding of themselves, build a strong social network, and take important steps toward success in school and life.

Why Out-of-School Time?

Out-of-school time (OST) enrichment programs play a crucial role in fostering the growth and development of children, providing them with opportunities to explore their interests, expand their horizons, and cultivate essential skills beyond the classroom.

Participation in after-school programs can lead to a significant boost in academic achievement, social-emotional development, and overall well-being. Moreover, students who regularly attend these programs exhibit reduced levels of risky behaviors and increased engagement in positive activities.

These programs serve as invaluable catalysts for personal growth, empowering young minds to become well-rounded individuals ready to embrace the challenges and opportunities that life presents.

Our vision is for our All-Stars to be safe and healthy, to graduate high school and go to college, to find careers they love and then give back to their communities.
