Student Spotlight: Meet Bryanna

At ASAS, students don’t just participate—they lead, serve, and inspire. Our LA chapter offers workforce development programs like The Quest and leadership programs like BOLD (Building Our Leaders and Dreamers), where students gain the confidence, skills, and character to step up as leaders in their schools and communities. A standout example is Bryanna, a senior at Bell Gardens High School. Since joining ASAS in 10th grade, she has taken initiative in mentorship, service, and advocacy, ensuring that younger students have the resources they need to thrive. She volunteers weekly at an elementary school, dedicating three hours to tutoring and mentorship, and is leading a BOLD community project focused on increasing access to academic resources. Bryanna is proof that when students are empowered with leadership opportunities, they rise to the challenge—creating a lasting impact for others along the way.
